My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Plug Burned/Shorted on Outlet

What causes a plug/socket to burn ?

Recently had one of them go bad. It's just a normal 7 plug surge protector plugged into the socket.

The computer lost power, and after diagnosing, the plug on the surge and the receptacle socket is black.

I have yet to replace the receptacle nor have I tested it to see if there is till power to it. I do plan to replace it regardless.

Just checking in on the local sparkies on the forum - hopefully you guys may offer insight on what caused it.
