Bonding bushing needed?

I'm connecting a new double oven that is on a 220V, 40 amp circuit. The wiring from the breaker to the junction box is 8/3 w/G NMC and the wiring from the oven to the junction box is individual 8 gauge stranded wires (red, white, black, and ground) running inside 1/2" metallic, spiral flex; there is a screw-in fitting at the free end of the flex and it is threaded to accept a screw-on locking collar. The junction box is plastic and of adequate size. It has a screw down plastic clamp that holds the NMC, and there is a knockout that I can use to attach the flex cable. My question: Do I need to incorporate a bonding bushing when I attach the flex to the box, or is the standard screw-on collar all that I need there. I did confirm that there is continuity between the grounding wire from the oven, the metallic flex, and the oven frame. I can't figure out what benefit a bonding bushing would provide, but I do recall seeing another plastic box that had a stamped-on reference stating that a bonding collar was required for metallic connections, which would make sense to me if the metallic connection was missing a separate ground. Am I missing something here? Thanks.
