Problem: Vanity lights, exhaust fan and ceiling light that all run off the same switch in the bathroom stopped working. I checked everything in circuit breaker and GFCI outlets and all fine. The rocker switch that runs these three items still has its backlight so I know electricity is getting to the switch. Everything else in bathroom works (outlets, closet light, toilet room light and fan).

Last night I flicked the rocker, not thinking, and the lights flashed real quick and off again.

Am I dealing with a short or something? Can this present a danger as I wait to get an electrician to come out? Every working fine for 11 months. New house.
