Intermittent Ceiling Light

Hi All,

I live in 100 year old, and am experiencing some odd behavior that I'd appreciate your help resolving.

Last year, I replaced one of the light fixtures in one of the bedrooms. It works fine, and except recently it seems that it occaisonally goes out. The fixture has three bulbs, and all three bulbs go out... But then after some interval (not consistent, but usually like tens of minutes later) it comes back on. The weird thing is that all other power in the house works fine. Also, I can't pinpoint a specific action that triggers the outage (like a vaccuum cleaner or some power source). My only theories are that:

1. There is a wire that is getting loose somehow

2. I am using too much power for house to handle (I have 200 amps, but we have a lot of electronics)

3. The fixture itself is somehow bad

Any other thoughts? I'm more of a novice when it comes to this sort of stuff, so I appreciate any help that you can provide.

Thanks!
