I have the blanco silgranite (1 3/4) in biscuit. I can't compare it to any other sink other than the dull stainless steel I had before. I love the feel of the blanco material! I have had no problems with scratching or staining. About once a week I use a little Bar Keepers Friend on it. I do not baby it at all.

How long have you has the sink?
I had a enamel over metal beige sink and it stained something awful. I'm concerned with that happening again.

I've had the sink two months, but have had many things in it (strawberries, coffee grounds, spaghetti sauce, BBQ, etc.) I hated my stainless steel but refused to go to enamel. The blanco silgranit is a totally different material. The material is stain resistant, can't say that for enamel. Even if they were the same color they are a totally different animal. I was concerned about staining before I ordered mine and did a lot of research, mostly on this forum.

I've been researching like crazy. On this site and going to showrooms. Seems like almost everyone is talking about the black sink, all the showrooms have the black one also.

During your research, did you look at the Swanstone granite sinks? I found alot of discussions about the Blanco but nothing about the Swanstone.

Actually I considered the Swanstone with the low divider, but cannot remember it's name right now. But when I researched it here I heard more positives about the silgranit and I really liked what I saw in person. I only got to see the chip in person because, like you mentioned, they really favor the black sample in the showrooms.

I'm not saying anyone said anything negative about the Swanstone. I recall one poster named Fern that loved hers. I'm sure both are good sinks. Good luck making your choice.

I have the Swanstone and am happy with it. I do see some marks on the bottom when the over-sink lights are on stun-a-deer mode; otherwise it's perfect. I chose it over the Blanco because of faucet placement. I'm supposed to get a picture of the bottom for another poster; I just can never get the darn thing empty of dishes! I'll step it up.

Tough decision
I like the Swanstone single sink because of its shape and depth, not sure about the color/pattern of the Granito, hard to judge from the small samples I saw in the showroom

I like the Blanco's color and the feel of the material,
think the 10" depth undermounted might be too deep and I'm not crazy about d-shape of the single sink model.

Dont know which to pick. I'm definitely obsessing over this.

I will be getting the smaller Swanstone undermount granite in white. Simply because I like the shape and the fact that it's not quite as deep. My neighbor is redoing her kitchen as I type and I'm hoping she uses it so I can get some feed back.

I have the Blanco super single Anthracite single sink. Love it! I had checked out Swanstone and didn't like the texture/look/feel of the sink. Have zero regrets.
