You are asking what to put on your 33 foot wall with the three windows....it appears to me to be a sort of hallway between your sunroom and stairs. I am not sure I would put anything there that you have to walk around. You have hallway to bedrooms....where is your kitchen? After you get your rug, I would choose either the grey or the red upholstered furniture....grey would seem to me to be light and airy. depends on the colors in your rug. I would pull your pub table out of the corner by the stairs a little and please lower your TV..I think the top of the TV should be even with the top of your fireplace.

The 33' wall is the walkway to the sunroom, but it's a part of the living room and looks empty without anything at all there. There's room to put SOMETHING; just not a whole seating arrangement type thing.

If you look at the picture that shows the pub table, you see a door straight ahead in the picture. That is a powder room. Directly to the left of that door is the kitchen area. It's kind of separate from the living area.

The pub table is pushed back more than it will be...easier to get around while moving things in. Unfortunately, the TV outlet dictates the height of the TV right now. The wall mount either has to go above or below the outlet. My husband hate it at that height too, so eventually we'll have someone come in and move the outlet up or down so the TV can be more properly placed.

Suggestions on furniture arrangement (other than the campfire circle!) would also be most appreciated!

I have a long wall also, and I put a writing desk and chair up against it. But I agree with you, the wall needs something.

Our TV and FP are somewhat in a similar position as your's. About the only thing we can do is float the furniture, with the sofa facing the TV, end table on each side of the sofa, and two chairs facing each other.

I'd scoot your seating area closer to the TV, and it will open up the room behind it.

You have a lot of space and as fun as it is decorating, it can be perplexing!

Maybe a long low console, on which you could put sculptural things.

Or, a long low bench of an interesting design or material?

Or a series of "statues" or trees in between the windows. Not exactly that, of course, but that shape and size. Almost using the wall like a gallery.

Maybe a desk between one pair of windows, then a console table with a piece of art on the blank wall space between the other windows to balance that long wall?

I like the idea of a low console and/or gallery wall. Anymore suggestions along those lines??

The current furniture layout you have for the area around the TV is not exactly working for the room. Lots of very big furniture placed there.

Maybe it would be better to address that first area first and see what that solution suggests for the balance of the room?

Thanks for the layout suggestions. In my first post, I noted the furniture was just pushed aside there like it was around a campfire, so I'm really looking for help in both areas of the room.

A pool table is probably not going to happen! I do appreciate you taking the time to do the layout jmock-ups. Our goal this weekend is to try to find a suitable arrangement for the furniture. Good thing we have those sliders to put under the legs... I think furniture is going to be moved several times!

I like the lay out suggestions that Beverly made. Could you put a nice game table in the area that Beverly suggested putting a pool table? I have a lovely game table that I will be using in our room. It will be wonderful for doing puzzles, playing cards, etc.

I would suggest you to use neutral colored rugs made with wool material. As it would be an Eco-friendly way to accentuate the looks of your sun room. On the windows you can install blinds instead of curtains. This will give you privacy as well as huge chunk of sunshine and fresh air when you need it.
