We moved into a new house 6 weeks ago. I've determined the color scheme and I've made some progress in the living area, but I don't know where to start with the breakfast area. I attached a picture of the adjoining living area as well as the breakfast room. It's still a work in progress, but you can see the color scheme. I just had a very ugly track lighting system taken down from breakfast room ceiling and the entire ceiling repainted. Now I have to decide what kind of light, window treatments, etc. to do in the breakfast. My first priority is to determine the light because we need light while we're eating dinner. I am thinking about covering a drum shade with the fabric that you see in the living room or possibly cover a drum shade in a lime green????? I have no idea where to start adding color and personality to the this room. Help!
