I think I may have you beat!! This was under an 80's mauve,blue, ivory striped vinyl. . .still makes my teeth itch to look at it!!

This first one was down our narrow bedroom hallway on both sides when I scraped off the layers of paint over it. It is green and white fake wood looking paper with black or white swirls to fool people into thinking it was real wood!:

This was in a house sold by my office recently. The paper is less awful but the amount puts it over the top:

Arg! I wish I had a photo of the red flocked wallpaper in my daughters room before we moved in. Although some may gag at the apple green we painted it at her request.

This was before before, and we gave it a facelift to make it not so terrible in the meantime, but after 10 more years, the lipstick has worn off this pig.

gray and whiteish fake wood striped cabinets?

remodelfla - if you we put your cabs in our old hallway, that would have been extra special, lol.....

Not as bad as the orange flowered bathroom above but, we lived with this for 23 years before we gutted it and started over.
Pay particular attention to the lighting.

Before:

Here's our kitchen when we moved in. No uppers or vent on the range wall. Red AND white counters. No DW. Refrigerator sticking out in the room... Notice the pull string light. Only 2 rooms had light switches - the bathroom and DR. Some rooms didn't have any lights and one outlet in the room.

We converted the 2 family into a single and my new kitchen was the tenant's old kitchen below (a little better than our 1st kitchen)

And the lovely bedroom wallpaper.

I did find I believe original wall paper (1825) plus some from ~1840's. I kept it and will frame it.
