Furniture Placement Question... We will not be placing the tv above the mantle- because that would be too easy. The fireplace is in the center of this 24x40 space, and will be the focus of the living area. However, I do not have any other living space/common area but this and the dining area is behind the fireplace... So, how do I arrange furniture so that the focus is still on the fireplace? I have 12 feet from the front porch/window wall to the door. Both sides of the house are symmetrical (on each side of the fireplace) as far as a door being there and the window on each side of the front door. Thanks soooo much in advance.
