small master needs help

12x15 master. We sacrificed space for a view. It looks anemic to me. I have a black quilt I could substitute for the silver one, (?) and the chest (shown) i have two, one for each bedside instead of the chinese things. If I use the chests they, along with the calif king bed, takes up all but 5 inches of that wall. Also, I have those beautiful antique mirrors that are 24x42. Should I use them perhaps behind the lamps. I would like to usse the things I have, but any other items you might think fabulous, I can purchase......but please help me.

Bed side table lamps look too tall. You should be able to read in bed without the bulb shining in your eyes.

Enough black already. A beautiful coral comforter would perk up the whole room.

Try the lamps and the mirror on the dresser and the picture on another wall. Just to see how that works?

Wow. You have beautiful things. Yes antique mirror behind lamps will be stunning. I'd like to see one more color added to the space. What you have is neutral so any color is your choice. Perhaps a teal pillow and a teal throw on the bed and a teal accent piece on the chest of drawers. Gorgeous and elegant room.

Can you place the chests and take a picture? I love them, but whether or not they work depends on how tall they are. I'ts about balance not square footage.

My first inclination would be to add a punch of paint to the walls. The existing vanilla is what I think it giving the room that anemic look. The black and cream should look decadent, and you absolutely have the right pieces to make it work. Also consider adding some more texture and a pop of accent color (like the coral Leelee is suggesting). Added color and texture will give the room the pop you are looking for!
