Installing ripple-fold drapery full-height, wall-to-wall would add a clean, contemporary elegance to the room. Ceiling-mount track system on both walls would allow you to "stack" drapery into the corner behind the lamp.

Congrats on the nuptials! If you can get through window treatment selection, you have it made! :-). A couple of light silvery gray panels on either side of both windows, especially one that reflects a blue-ish sheen, would be great. Ready-made faux sill panels would be nice-looking, and if you need a bit of length, hanging them from a nickel rod with matching clip rings would gain you a couple of inches in length. go with floor-length. Best of all, 84 x 48-54 panels can be taken with you and used on other windows in the future.

I don't find your space to look unfinished without drapes at all. I prefer the clean look you have now.

Since you are renting I would just go with a pair of simple cream linen panels and that way you can take them with you to your next home as they are the type of thing that will work in many different interiors.

You two are obviously not afraid of color, which is awesome! With the grey toned walls and deep blues you've got so far, I'd do a color I call potato vine green - bright yet grounded. (See Sherwin Williams paint color "Hep Green" for a sense of what I'm thinking). Keep the lines simple and definitely go full length. I'd go above the window frame height and beyond the window width with your rod choice. Add a couple pillows with this color and get yourself an actual potato vine plant as a coffee table accent. This color initial can seem extreme but it actually looks great with charcoal, deep burgundy, purple, chocolate and many others so it could serve your future spaces even if your colors change. You're probably going to have to relocate some of your artwork but I think the space will feel more complete with window treatments. You've got a great space already with a terrific vibe going on. Build on that and have fun!

Stationary Panels on each side would help complete a transitional look. Ripple folds are very popular these days. Please note that drapery may close in the environment, and it looks like you have a very light design going on so use a linen or sheer if possible.

You can order 96 inch drapes online from many sources: World Market, Pottery Barn, Country Curtains, Pier One, etc. And, if you are afraid of harming the walls, rods can often be hung using 3M hooks.

Layer your existing rug on to a larger jute or sisal rug.

I love your room just the way it is. Putting curtains or drapes would really date the look and hide the wonderful contrast you have with the wood trim. Maybe that is why you are having difficulty finding just the right fit....it looks much better without curtains! Enjoy your space and your new marriage!

Good advice! I would spend my money on investing in great pieces that you will love forever, not drapes. Looks great now. You are way ahead of most newly weds.

Btw, I have been in my current house for seven years and no drapes! Maybe this year. Married 46 years. Do have window coverings. Take that money and shop antique stores, flea markets, and art gallery showings. These will be your treasures in your forever home. Drapes, wall coverings and paint are passing fancies in comparison to quality furniture, rugs and art work. This time in your life is fleeting, make it an adventure and spend money on a lifetime of memories. Best wishes and a wonderful life!

ripple fold drapes would be wonderful but not in a rental too much cash and drapes never fit well in other spaces when you move. not worth outlay for a rental.
