I am having black galaxy countertops installed. I already have hickory cabinets. I am thinking about glass mosaic tiles with a gold finish. The big problem is where to end the backsplash. the top cabinet ends 4" before the countertop, also there is 4" between the window and cabinets around the room. I really don't like the look of bringing the tile across horizontally with the cabinets. What are your thoughts?
