I think a darker shade of Silver Satin is the way to go, too, but I have a lot of difficulty in determining the undertones in different colors. Some people describe Silver Satin as a "warm" grey; others say it's a perfect neutral -- not particularly green, red, yellow or blue in its undertones. Would it work to have the paint store make me a sample of the formula for Silver Satin with all of the colors at proportionally higher percentages? Would that get me a darker version of Silver Satin?

Would be nice if the employee at the BM paint store actually knew what the term "shade" meant. He said he tinted Silver Satin 75% darker and I noticed after the fact, he added white to the formula, whereas white was not in the original formula, nor is white what you use when shading a color. UGGG.
