I replaced a 24 circuit Square D panel with a new 40 circuit panel. I would like to use the 24 circuit panel to replace a full 20 circuit panel. The problem is that the door has all the circuit labels on it. I do not think a replacement door is an option since the panel is no longer made. The panel is good except for all the labeling. How is this relabeling normally handled? It seems all the new panel boxes are in the large size of the 40 circuit box and the smaller box would better fit the location where the 20 circuit box is currently located.
