I agree with Flavin Architects that using a white subway tile in a traditional pattern or a herringbone pattern is a classic look. Everything old is new again, so you will see this trend fall away. Even so, it is a timeless approach to a modern or traditional kitchen.

So happy to hear that. I love a white kitchen with this particular backsplash but I really try to stay away from trends for big ticket rooms like a kitchen. Would you recommend doing the entire backsplash with this pattern or just the area behind the burners?
