Aaahh... I used to have lop-eared house rabbits, just like the one in the picture.

When I was growing up my parents always had a dog, so I grew up with dogs and love them, but being a single homeowner I don't own one; I can't bear to have a dog in the house all alone while I'm at work for 9 hours or more; it's not fair to them. I've thought about setting up an aquarium, and maybe some time in the future I will, but fish, which my family also had when I was growing up, aren't sociable, nor do they provide companionship like a dog can. There's something about the individual personality of a dog that brings some life to a house, even the house of a single homeowner that has the time or a stay at home job where the dog isn't left alone for long periods of time.

Cats are great company!

Look up, Foo the Flowerhorn on youtube. It's a fish that can be quite entertaining. They require a lot of knowledge, time, and money, too.
Great if you need some company and can't have an animal.
