If he's only charging 13% more for Aura, buy it! Aura is superior to the other choices. For ceilings, any ceiling paint or flat paint will do. Ceilings do not require durable paints since you'll never touch them, so please, do not spend good money on ceiling paint.

Like brush said, go with the aura but not for the ceilings, the pro mar 200 would be suitable for them. Pro mar 200 really is a contractor grade paint and is OK but personally, I would never use it for any of my customers, unless it was for a rental

I always tell my customers that if you don't mind a little shine on your walls, then eggshell is the way to go. Satin is too shiny and more appropriate for trim. Even though Benjamin Moore and really all manufacturers market their matte finishes as being washable, they really aren't as durable as the eggshells.

In my experience Aura Matte and Aura Eggshell are comparable in every way except the sheen.

I have Aura eggshell in most of my house, and love it. And I agree that a 13% upcharge is well worth it!

I put Aura eggshell on every surface. Even the ceilings. The sheen helps the low ceilings appear taller. I just like working with that paint. It's so easy.
