How was the floor done?

From this picture, it looks like the concrete floors are on a raised foundation, not a slab. Is the concrete poured over a wood foundation, and if so, how thick?

There is lots of steel and concrete under the house… I would think all that steel and concrete is to hold the weight of slab pour
