I really like the tile around the window, and I think lighting the small cabinets would look great. It's gonna be beautiful!

I like the tile going all the way up the wall, and definitely with a grey grout. Your light selections are really nice. Since they both put out downward directed light, you may want to consider adding a recessed can in each of the 4 corners to provide ambient light, and maybe under cabinet lighting to provide workspace light on the countertops. I also like that in the rendering you have wooden stools at the island, they add warmth. I like the CB stools but just think they feel too sterile in your space.

i like the look of subway tile surrounding a window. go with plainer tile than fancier though or it gets overwhelming.
