What is the distance between the counters (sink/stove)?

I have a really narrow kitchen that I'm wanting to remodel. This is the first kitchen I've seen that has a narrow walkway like mine.

    Good morning,

    I'm not sure what the distance is between the counter tops, typically we try to maintain 42" alleys. However, we have gone to 36" in some cases. Traffic patterns and usage has alot to do with determining what can work. I hope that helps?

    Yes, thank you. Mine is 42" which seemed on the small side to me but I guess it's more common than I thought.
