You might want to take it back to basics. Make the shutters a black or dark grey and paint the siding white. I would also paint the garage doors I think adding a porch along the front of the house could also be a great way to add a lot to the home. I would even leave the red door as is!

It would add a lot (because of the width of the house and the long low shed roofline, if you added a wood bracket supported gable just over the front door that you want visitors to use. It would help the architecture of the house a lot too. It would be time to do it before / as you reroof. Look at prowoodmarket.com for wood brackets . . You might also add wood brackets under the bays and the overhanging 2nd level on the right side of the house too. I have to advise against BLACK roof - look for a brown / gray combo - weathered wood is one popular one. With the color of your brick chimney, black is too harsh.

The right side of the house is in shade, but I was looking to see if there was another entry over there . . is this a duplex or twin house? (due to width and bulk) but I will assume that the red door I see in the light is the only front door, a single family home and work from there. . . well, nope - that is the problem - do not paint bright colors on two front doors. Only paint the bright on the one you want visitors to use. Paint the other out with the trim color . . . unless this is a twin house.

If not, Screening / taller landscape to the right of the bay next to the entry - 4' flowering shrubs in a zig zag with 2' in front of that on the curb side . . fill it so it screens the walk behind it.

Back with paint suggestions - with the scale of the house, I like it nestled back in the trees . . but we can improve it. I also think it would be better without shutters and with fat window trim - a bit more colonial, less expanded ranch. Here, more verticality is better . .

Here are colors - you want to aim at shingle style - take off the shutters, add back fat trim around your new windows. If you ever replace upper siding, use a shingle style siding instead to advance this more historic home look. I'm suggesting a historic color with off white trim -

for new windows - get muntin divisions for top only to advance this shingle style look - for bays - get casements for sides with muntins - leave center as picture window .. .

With this, you can keep your red door (one of them!) and paint the other the house siding color. Or you can test a new door color - this would be great with a dark red like you have / like onandaga clay (bm color names!), great with blue green like bm tranquil blue . .
