Ideas for wall in master bedroom

I have very small master bedroom that basically only includes our master bed, a mirrored closet, and matching bedside tables. The white walls are driving me crazy so I need some advice: wallpaper the large, white wall next to my bed or try a wall mural. I want to make sure whatever we put on that wall doesn't make the room look too small.

I have seen small bedrooms painted deep colors (from deep greens all the way to black) and i have found ,while it doesnt make the room look bigger it into a dramatic masterpiece....the key is to get a rich color, rich fabrics and tone down patterns..
