Bulb & rod length & dimmer

Hi, What kind of bulb does this take? Can it be dimmed. Also, how adjustable is the rod?

    Hi! This fixture takes a 100 Watt Type A Bulb. The socket is keyless meaning it it hardwired and will be controlled by a wall switch, if it is wired to a dimmer switch you can dim this fixture. The rods for this fixture are 18" you can use the top rod by itself to make the fixture 29" in overall height.
