Hardi Panels, Poured Walls on a budget!

I'm trying to figure out how to get the most bang for my buck with a new house build. I've attached a view of the exterior of the house.

The foundation will be poured and i'm still open to deciding how to treat the main level.

I've heard hardi panels placed horizontally with Xtreme trim bead might be a good option but i'm afraid of it not looking "tight" enough to the trim, and looking a little wobbly.

Could I pour my walls all of the way up and just score lines in it and paint it?

I like the pictures but I don't think can afford a rain screen system etc.

Thoughts on how to accomplish this look with minimal costs?
