Champagne bronze or oil rubbed bronze

For our guest bath we will be converting this dresser into a vanity with a Calcutta gold marble top and rectangle shaped vessel sink. I want to keep the existing hardware. I would never have thought I'd like a gold or brassy toned fixture, but in the showroom, we found this champagne bronze faucet by delta which went with the hardware quite nicely. Still, I want a bathroom and fixtures that will have character yet be timeless. Think this tone is too trendy or should I use it? Would oil rubbed bronze be better?

I'm including some pictures of the dresser, hardware and the faucet. Please tell me what you think!!

Thanks for all the input. I wanted to just share the final decision/result. We did decide to go with the champagne bronze fixtures and we just live the look. Makes that guest bath look so special and unique. Here's a couple of photos

I am a (re) convert to brass as nowadays it comes in champagne, aged, patinated, shiny or matte. I find it very versatile and much warmer. The look and tone match your dresser very well.

I think champagne bronze is perfect! Polished brass is not in but beautiful brass will be in forever... My opinion.

Oil rubbed bronze has a few more years before is is passé. If you want longevity go with the satin brass, champagne bronze, brushed gold finishes. These finishes are on the leading edge of the trend curve.

Is Under Armour guy on board with this as he doesn't seem too excited-lol.

. I do not know if this champagne bronze are living finishes like the oil bronze so I would look into that and determine if you could live with the possibility of it becoming various shades of like color if it is living. Otherwise, I think the finish is lovely with your vanity.

I am laughing so hard about the comment on Mr. under armor, TedBixby, because it reminded me of this one other photo of him from that day when he was (very sarcastically) showing his enthusiasm for this design decision. Had to share the photo here as you might appreciate it!! Lol.

Mrs & Mr Under Armour- great job. I hope that Mr Under Armour will be able to contain his enthusiasm on any of your future remodeling endeavors as it can be so distracting -lol. Happy wife, happy life :)
