I am struggling with the decision of engineered wood or 20x20 tile. I'm remodeling and I currently have wood in my master bedroom. My original plan was to put tile throughout except bedrooms and put wood in bedrooms. Now I'm thinking on continuing wood into dining & living room, down hallway & into bedroom 2&3. My concern is maintenance of wood, higher traffic area & that it's dark. Attached is my floor plan, color of wood & color of tile. HELP!

What area do you live in? Geography has to be considered for your local market demands will determine the best choice of wood flooring versus tiles.

Pierre Jean-Baptiste Interiors, I live in Albuquerque, NM. The engineered wood is doing good in my bedroom but It does show the dust a lot and I am a clean freak but as I get older, i want low maintenance. I"m just not sure how tile that looks like wood would look against the engineered wood that I currently have in my master bedroom. I dont wanna go dark. I was thinking of putting the same engineered wood in all bedrooms for consistency then put the tile that looks like wood in all other areas or just stick with my 20x20 tile brick lay. Remember, I'm trying to go for an old world/Tuscan look.
