Very Sweet , al , holds that color all year ,yes ?

is that thuja orientalis behind ?

ron

Looks great. Actually never heard of 'Firefly'.

Dax

It's a slower growing version of P. orientalis 'Skylands.' The Iseli website has some information, but I think there are some other names floating around that refer to the same basic cultivar. Such as 'Iseli Seedling' and 'Skylands Seedling.' But that's really just speculation on my part.

Whatever the case, it's a nice plant, and ally_cat, you've got a beautiful one.

Dean

Thanks folks...Ron, good call, thats Thuja orientalis 'Morgan' in the back.

Dean, that story is a long one. The short story is 'firefly' was chosen from a large batch of seedlings that were trialed by iseli. The 'fireflys' on the market are true to name.

Al

That plants is gorgeous. It looks so healthy. Wish I could grow orientalis.
