Working from memory: The panels are prefinished maple face with exposed trimhead screws (in a nice pattern of 3 at each corner) over 3/4" furring strips (stained black) that are attached to the rafters. The furring strips back all of the edges. I don't think there is edge banding on the panels, but the joints are kept tight (1/16"?) so that there is a dark shadow line. There is a line of curved panels at the valley (not seen in this photo) that was achieved by back kerfing the panel so it could take the bend.

The panels were cut on site & installed by the homeowners, so I do not have any cost information.

quick question on the plywood ceiling..cut onsite? via circular saw or table saw? doing similar ceiling in my basement, curious as to how u went about making such exact cuts.

To be honest, I don't remember. If I had to guess, I'd say panels precut offsite, with adjustments to the perimeter made on site.
