Wounded Warrior's Elk Trophy Needs Welcome

This is "Bruce", the elk head, who was welcomed onto my ONE 14-ft peaked wall capable of holding his 6x6 antler spread. His presence reminds us each morning that our active duty Spec Ops son is still alive and is 'nearly' all the way home (warriors will always carry a large mental burden for us!) But I digress-- The elk is his trophy from a Wounded Warrior hunt and mounted for free by the Wounded Warrior sponsor (Bless you all who make these events possible!) My son returned renewed and with this trophy -no Mom could refuse to display. This great room has three signed Cayiga posters of San Juan, too large for any other wall in our down-sized house. Eclectic? But of course, this is a retired military household but 155mm shells are vanquished until grandchildren are in their teens! What can I do to make 'Bruce' feel more at home? I have contemplated antique maps or genealogy trees or prairie scenes from my family's NE farms. Thoughts?
