Soft nuetral blue/gray? This is pretty.

Perhaps the grey as in that sofa pillow. I prefer a grey with a touch of raw umber mixed in for warmth. Then take the blanket off the sofa back, you can toss it over the arm. Good Luck!

Please post a picture of the rug

Pull a green from the rug to use as your inspiration. If you want the room to feel very dramatic, go with a darker shade of that green, and if you want a light airy feel to the room, go with a green a couple of shades lighter than your rug.

HI -- Can I talk you into doing something that is a little more exciting than the boring light grey ... getting to be old hat . Your young so I think this would be good for you . And it will go with your great sofa that I like . Wall color "Amsterdam Blue " by Benjamin Moore paints . Paint the ceiling and crown ...(and trims) "natural linen" CC-90. Now here is where I want you to be brave because it will look totally awesome ... Paint the fireplace all black or charcoal/black . Then add a round silver framed mirror over the mantel And a big painting over the sofa and a bigger pair of white/silver table lamps . then some blue velvet cushions and some with a black and cream/white print etc. And a white goat fur one for fun. And a large salt and pepper /heather textured rug .
