need help with trim

We are well into building a new home. The first photo shows the liv room white oak flooring just laid, and the crown moulding as well as one of two Doug Fir french doors and part of a large window between them. The second shows the floor after sanding and being stained. The stain has a bit of gray/taupe, but the Doug Fir windows and doors are naturally more red in tone. The crown moulding and eventual baseboards will be painted white. Do the windows, doors and their eventual trim need to be also painted white, or can we stain them to blend more with the grays in the flooring? I do not like the current contrast. Thank you, Peggy.
