No, I don't think they look cheap and flimsy. But, I do think beefier may look better. It also depends on the size of your kitchen and appliances, etc to determine if they look wimpy in a large kitchen. If you have a "small" kitchen and standard appliances, I think the hardware looks "fine".

I think they look good and are proportional (I assume this is a replacement and fits the current holes that are standard 3 1/2 on the center) . The twists in the middle portion go well with a traditional look but help modernize as well. Perhaps if you show a picture of the whole cabinet/drawer it might be easier to judge the size a tad better.

Here's one suggestion. The key elements that I was looking for were something that had a uniform width on the handle, rather than thinning at any point (in fact, it gets larger in the middle), and I think if you darken the color a bit it will stand out just enough (but not too much) from your cabinets.

Marth4, my cabinets are similar to yours. I think Park Place found a good pull that will look nice on them (but I am partial to black and ORB). On my cabinets the old brass pull and backplate just faded into the background, so I took them off and painted just the pull black. Nickel and brass just did not seem right for the look I wanted. Here are the pictures of before and after. Unfortunately, the black spray paint is not holding up so when I finish my kitchen refresh I have found some new ones I like. It was not an easy task since the holes are 4 inches on the center for mine.

I agree with Darzy, you need something more appropriate for the look and size of your cabinet doors.

They don't look terrible, but a larger pull might appear more "balanced" on the cabinets. There are lots of options out there for you!

All three of the above are good choices. I think the dark against the oak is so much nicer. Not trying to offend, but the brushed nickel gets lost ( I love brushed nickel as well as cooper in many, many kitchens)

I would prefer to see a beefier profile. My husband's hands are so thick, he can't grasp anything less than 3"!!! We can't even THINK about delicate/dainty like these.

You may want to look at what we used in our kitchen renovation.
