How should I dress this window?

The rest of the home has 2" wood eggshell blinds. I do need privacy as this window looks directly into the living room. I'm also considering painting the wall slate or light blue. But as for the window: curtains, blinds, shades? The theme is rustic beachy. Any help is appreciated.

You have gorgeous windows!

For your window coverings, what if you used bamboo shades? They are perfect for both the rustic and coastal style you talked about. And you can add a privacy liner, which still lets natural light filter through, but no one outside can see inside. Or you can even choose a top down/bottom up bamboo shades. This lets you lower from the top so you can have natural light coming through while keeping the bottom closed for privacy.
