Well Gregory I would definitely trust my own instinct if I were you, your room is very well integrated. Now all of the above would go great in your room as it seems to yell sunset and water. Are you a surfer? But yes, there are other ways to go, but do you like certain things, wildlife, people, city scapes, land scapes, black and white, sea scapes. Your own photos can now be uploaded and printed on glass, acrylic, canvas, metal, wood. really quite amazing. In the meantime, trust your marvelous instincts, have fun, and show us when you are done.

I do not know your monetary status, but when I was on line I found many of the sites that will print your photos on acrylic, wood, canvas etc. Also sell other art that has been done, and much of it is currently on sale, you might want to look at that.

Room is very small.. I would suggest 2 mirrors or art (rectangle type), each behind the lamps. Frame any . It will not clutter the room and will look very nice. I wouldn't add to many colours, keep it earty light..

Here's a nighttime ocean scene from Etsy. This artist says she does commissions, so maybe she could do the size and colors you want, though these seem to work well and create a nighttime mood. Many Etsy artists also do commissions.

I would definitely avoid something with a lot of colors. It would be too hard to match the colors of the bedding and if the colors don't match, it could be a wreck. A large black and white print or photo would be great. I would go large scale here for drama. Pick something you like such as an old sports photo or some grafitti or something music related (I saw a guitar). It could be really cool.
