Great!

Wow! Gorgeous!

What would you say the cost savings would be doing this much Reno vs tear down and start from scratch?

Stunning! Great job!

Have any tipsy party guests fallen into the moat?

The loss of the mansard roof and bay windows was this homes gain . . very american gigolo / palm desert glam.

Jennifer Dennis, the cost of a new const. project vs a complete teardown will vary based on many factors including the property you are building on, the current state of the existing house, and what the end vision is for the project. We have completed some renovations that have cost "more" than a new construction and vice versa. On this particular project the costs involved in building a new residence vs. renovating the existing home were about the same. Some benefits in not building new and keeping with the existing footprint were fewer permits required and keeping grandfathered clauses.

Awesome!
