Hey! We'd love to give you some suggestions. You pillows appear to be brown and creme colored, and your couches have a slight orangeish to them, is that accurate? Also the pillows, are they both a grey-blueish color or closer to something else?

Is the furniture beige? and accent pillows, what colors?

Before adding a rug, just wondering if the two chairs could be placed opposite the couch or have one facing the other across the coffee table (and the side table placed next to the couch) - unless you placed them there for tv viewing. You rug should be large enough that all the seating's front legs (at least) rest on the rug. If the solid pillows are blue, it may be nice to add a blue rug. Type really depends on what you lean towards, as there are so many options - flatweaves, sisal, striped, patterned, floral, etc. One below has a lovely pattern that doesn't overwhelm due to its soft color and simple pattern.

Sorry bad lighting. The couches are a light taupe. And the pillows are a dark greyish/navy velvet and cream/taupe Chevron pattern. I like the Moroccan/chain pattern you posted above but all of my entry door rugs are already that pattern so I prefer to stay away from that pattern so I don't get sick of it. :)

Also, no, the chairs cannot be placed differently. Large fireplace to the right of the couch and the wall across from the couch is the tv console/tv

Options. Let me know if you like any of them I can give you info

I just put in a big white shag rug for my "summer" look. Have wanted to do this for 12 years and everyone loves it. Also changed out to summer pillows. It was a splurge but all less than $500. Costco for the rug. Just an idea. It would brighten up the space.

I have the Costco shag rug in the bedroom. :)
