Paint colour for walls

My kitchen is being redone with white cabinets and a steel grey granite countertop. Kitchen and den are attached. Den has a green carpet (soon to be changed to wood floors) and a camel colour leather sofa (soon to be replaced with black leather). Any advice on wall colour? I am partial to deep tones but do not want to go too dark. I want it to look good with what is in the den for now until I replace.
