I hope you don't mean you will paint the tile, right?

I'd bleach the hell out of it and maybe re-color the grout. Go with a light gray or white paint on the walls above the tile.

First of all, I love your bathroom, especially the floor. Bleaching the hell of it, as krismays put it, is a good start.

I think you're better stick with grayish green paint color consistent with the fixtures. If lighting allows, i'd go darker (dark enough not to blend in with the trim), then choose a patterned shower curtain incorporating green and adding additional colors that can then be repeated in towels and accessories.

Thank you for all the great ideas. Sadly I do mean paint the tile just the walls though I would like to keep it as is but the previous owners did a number on trying to re-grout. There is smeared grout on the actual tiles that with all my might will not scrape off or wipe off. The grout is also cracking in places so I thought I'd just seal the cracks and then be able to paint them to hide everything else. I have seen tiles painted that have come out very nice and held up very well so I'm hoping mine will do the same. As for the floor thank you gella81 we really love it too. I have bleached, baking soda/vinegar, and used many other cleaning products with no luck. I have found a company though that comes and steam cleans and re-colors/seals your grout so I think the floors will be able to stay as is (yay!). I love the idea of a dark gray on the top walls we have plenty of natural light I think that would look great. Thanks again!
