Hi folks, planning first ever kitchen renovation in the Chicago area. Every time I check out a cabinet in the showroom that I think looks nice, I google them and just see mostly negative experiences. Of course that's what folks do more often, complain rather than compliment :) Looking for recommendations on mid range cabinets, full overlay white painted, solid plywood construction. Also, what were your favorite Chicago area resources for contractor, countertop, etc. I want a kitchen that will serve us well for 10+ years, and still have money left over to enjoy life! Thanks in advance - my initial excitement has very quickly turned into frustration and analysis paralysis :/
