Benjamin Moore OC-53 "Horizon" I have used this color in several rooms in my house and it is just an amazing neutral!

I love the name...going to look it up!

Ruthpets, do you have any photos of horizon? I've been considering it as the paint color for our new build which is almost all open. My husband doesn't want to do plain white and horizon looks like a soft, bright neutral gray but I fear it will be too light.

I've been very pleased with the PPG Moth Gray I used in our great room. We bought way to much so it's also going in the basement. It looks gray, it looks beige, it looks like a bunch of different neutrals with the angles and shadows in the room.

Revere Pewter and Manchester Tan. BM--I've had them in bedrooms. living rooms, halls...in the house I live in and rentals since 1985. :)

It is soooo hard for me to understand color...warm vs cool, color pallets, the undertones of colors, etc. so when I find one I Love...I hold on for dear life! Lol! Thanks for sharing everyone!

One of the reasons that I went white was because we have 3 kids, a DH w/ a dirty job & pets. 2 of my kids are prolific artists whose preferred canvas was our walls. I simply couldn't win no matter what tactics I tried so I let them have at it, however I made them scrub the walls. Any paint touch ups didn't show w/ the white as much as they did when I had colored walls.

I gave them a chalkboard wall which curtailed the drawing on the walls everywhere else but by that time I loved the white. They still clean grubby handprints off the walls and splashed spaghetti sauce. We use Mrs. Myer's. Works like a charm & doesn't make the painted woodwork tacky. Smells great too.

They are now 6yrs to 11yrs so I am now considering painting our office pale grey. I love the BM Gray Owl or Horizon.

My Office & LR ceilings are painted BM San Antonio Gray.

A friend's son is renovating an older home. We went to see it and the first thing I noticed was the paint color. He said it was BM Horizon and the upstairs was Wickim Grey that was somewhat darker but not by much. I loved both colors and am not much of a fan of grey.

My go to color would be some kind of beige. I had the brilliant idea to paint each room with diff beiges but in the long run it turned out to to be a nightmare. When doing minor repairs that require touch ups, despite our best efforts to keep proper labels and sample sticks, it is common that I have to try 3-4 paints b4 I get a perfect match. Things like paint fading from sunny windows, lighting, etc play trick w/my eyesight and touch ups are a big chore around here. Next time it is required I will paint ALL rooms with same color beige or grey or a tinted white and let pillows, furniture, etc create the mood. My MB is painted a dark color and that will always be as I find the darkening effect very soothing.
