Help with identifying herb

Both of my parents passed away earlier this year and my brothers and I were going through the large garden they planted and ran across this herb. I remember them using it in tomato, cucumber and pepper salad. We don't know the name so any help with identifying it would be appreciated!

Sorry for your loss. RIP.

The herb appears to be rosemary.

Thank you for the condolences. Would you happen to know the variety?

I'm pretty sure this is not Rosemary. It looks more like savoury. If it perennial compare with winter savoury. Another possibility is hyssop. But not Rosemary.

"Does it have a scent"? Yes it does...it's hard to describe but it's very aromatic. It does look like Rosemary but I agree..I don't think it is.

I would also lean toward savory and not rosemary. It just doesn't look woody enough. Would be leggy for a winter savory, but possibly summer savory that self seeded?

Looks kind of like a korean plant we grew once that is used in fish dishes. Koreans have hundreds of herb plants.

To me it could be a french tarragon, which is great in salad vinaigrette and is a perennial. The scent is somewhat like anise. This one is a little dry compared to typical tarragon.
