a case of UGLYAPARTMENTITIS. lets find a cure.

ok, so i just sold my house and i also just leased this apartment. I need help working with such a small space as im moving from 2400sqft to 1100sqft Besides decor, I need creative storage ideas, especially in the kitchen cause its tiny!

Ive attached pics of the rental unit, it is empty now, we take possession on sept 1, so im trying to get a head start on ideas for this bland beige boring nightmare.

bring on your ideas!

That place is pretty fun now! It's like "Toats Concentrate" in the LR, and classy/pretty/airy in the BR. :)

I think I wanna kill this thread, it's long overdo. I just found ann's thread where she's redoing her office, I wanna keep up over there. Also need to go and see what's goin on with zazzs thread. I will open a new thread once I'm serious about a house and hope you guys will help me out :)

Maybe you want to paint some tea cups:)

There's a tear in my eye. Thanks for the ride, Toats.

But Toats, if you reopen your etsy store, I want to see all the projects you add. There is so much more to see from you other than completed rooms, it would be terrible if you didn't have a thread going so we can see all your creations.

Please keep a thread going or start a new one. I always have one going and sometimes it's just chat or a place others show their projects and homes. Right now, I've been working in my office but that's nearly done - but I don't want to close the thread. I always seem to have some kind of question that brings the thread back to life.

    Hi, how r u?

When it comes to me, I prefer a Minimalist Home. :)

The first thing to do is pull off all the lower cabinet doors and insert big deep draws. Something two doors wide. Divide these draws if you want a little bit more organization. Nothing kills space in a kitchen like a lower cabinet racked with static shelves.

I believe this apartment has long since been abandoned. This thread should be too...

Feliz, don't you get tired of complaining? It's very draining on the soul, I think...

It was revived because a kind person commented that it was a cozy place...

    No harm in that...

Yes, I see a fica in most of the rooms in my near future and whatever else I find at the garden shop. I actually love going to my local garden shop even though I don't have the most green thumb. I kind of lean toward the WE as I am concerned the baskets aren't high enough for how big it should get. I'll snap a picture once I get the new pillows judi bola.

Thank you! I am trying to find a couple options and saw this one and liked it. What do you think? I am adding plants to several of the rooms and I feel so much better with the plants all around as silly as it may be. I have always liked that basket of yours too.

I have that set up Ann in my mother's former room. It is allergy proof and means you never have to buy another foundation.

I may look for some new pillow covers on the chairs to change it up and figure out that coffee table.

As for my mattress, it is king too. I also find it pretty heavy so I need my husband's help to change the sheets (I hurt my shoulder and it never was the same). That topper I added made it heavier but it's so comfortable that I can't take it off. Mine is made of-
