We are in the last phases of a kitchen remodel. We kinda winged it (I know, a big no-no!) on the island design as we weren't exactly sure what we wanted. So here is what we have so far. Granite countertop will overhang about 10 inches, with chairs tucked in below. On the right side we are thinking two 15x24 glass shelves. Tall baseboard will go across the bottom, but not the leg. The island itself will more than likely be painted a light grey color; the rest of the kitchen cabinets are off-white shaker style. What do you think about the design/idea? How about the leg design? Any better ideas? HELP! :)
