Paint color

Trying to find a wall colour to go with the colors on my sectional sofa.

i don't like dark grey.

The room is kind of open plan, so want to continue the same colour on the stair and corridor wall.

thank you.

If you are looking for something a bit more neutral, what about Revere Pewter by Benjamin Moore?

I like what you have, especially if continues into other spaces.

How about a light grey on walls and adding warmth with golden accessories.

Mia the color on the walls looks quite different from the photo.

i absolutely loved the colour with my previous sofas, and have it throughout the rest of the house, but just don't like it with this new sofa.

my other walls are covered in stripes of colors I've tried, but just can't find " the one".

i live on a small island and can only get dulux colors although they have a mixing service.

I've been trying different colour said for 2 years, and have cancelled the painter once!!

i have him booked for the 26th of September so can't possibly cancel again.

been to every furniture store looking for inspiration but STILL haven't found anything that looks good.

Haven't worked out to reply to you individually yet. Sorry.

i do appreciate all your comments.

Dawn, you have made great choices in your fabric selection. Bring the yellow and grey pillow to a paint store, and choose a color that complements it. Good luck. Do not cancel again :-)

    Thank you Karen.
I have just looked at a dulux paint colour called Tranquil retreat, but can't find it on any UK sites. I'm sure it just has another name in the UK.
Will take my cushions with me.
Thank you for bothering to reply.
I think that pale grey would look good. I'd the choose lampshades in a gold/ yellow colour to tie it in.
I have a chair which is the identical shade of the gold in the sofa.
On second thoughts I might even chose a darker shade of grey it. Can't really decide until I see the walls painted.

Dawn, I think a pale shade of gray will work beautifully in your space. Make sure this is a bit of contrast between the sofa color and the wall color. Post pictures of the paint swatches one you get them.

All your accents sound like they will work beautifully in your room!

Thank you. Going to the paint shop tomorrow hopefully. X

Unfortunately can't get it here, and unless I have an actual swatch of the colour can't get it mixed.

Lots of grays have purple undertones. That might work.

Thank you leelee. I think these are probably the warmer greys which is exactly what i want.
