I am 5"2. Our son is now 5"6. My husband is 6".

Dangling feet: What is comfy for the husband leaves my feet dangling off the ground. The seat of most sofas are too deep and I end up sitting ramrod straight, my back does not reach the back of the sofa without leaving my feet dangling off the ground.

The astronaut effect: Most sofas and chairs are angled such that one ends up sitting like a astronaut facing the ceiling. These sofas also making getting out of them a gymnastic feat.

For the living room where we will entertain people how do we choose sofa sets that are comfortable to sit in. Support the back, keep feet on the ground? Not looking for recliners here.
