How am I doing? It's been a long summer!!!! Would appreciate ideas for backsplash tile. I love arabesque. I am thinking a cream color to match the cabinets or a simple gray. I am also leaning toward matching grout lines. Also- something special above the cooktop.

Tell me what you think!!

Maybe teal for the backsplash, since there's a bit of it in the granite? That would give the kitchen some color and tie it together. I know teal is probably over-used right now but it's a beautiful color!

With your style of kitchen I'm going to say off white or white (to match the white in the granite) subway tile with white or light grey grout. You did a beautiful job on your kitchen. More proof that painted oak can look great.

Looks great! A teal glass backsplash would add some color & would look nice with the teal in the granite.

I vote for white subway tile. Let the counters be the star. Behind the cooktop... a tall diamond imprinted brushed stainless panel to give the room a focal point.

Looks awesome! Color depends on the style you want to go with, Whites would be beautiful and more modern... While a lovely color pop would be a little more contemporary. Check out www.nptpool.com yes, pool tile(still can be used as a backsplash if you wanted)... but at least you can see there are tons of options! Good Luck!

WOW- I have not seen a counter top that gorgeous in a long time! I think keeping the backsplash clean and simple would be your best bet. Thanks for sharing and hope you show the final outcome.

Great looking granite! Nice choice. I would recommend going with a white tile backsplash in maybe a herring bone pattern to give it a bit of design. That way it won't take away from your beautiful counters.

I'm impressed Michelle! What a great job! You can't go wrong with any of these suggestions - I do see something more than a plain white tile backsplash to accent the counters. Maybe, adding a non-opaque glass tile. Color could be pulled from the counter tops; green or white.

Very interesting stone countertop--a gray subway tile would blend nicely with it.

Beautiful progress. We would go with semi glossy white subway tiles, this will pull the light colors in your countertop and brighter and create depth in your overall look.
