I LOVE a chandler in the master bedroom but where we live I have to have a fan during the summer even though we also have air, it is a must for me. Sounds like it might not get that hot where you are so maybe you can get by without the fan. I think if you can do without the fan, get the chandler. If worse came to worse, you could always switch out the chandler for a fan. Just be sure you measure very carefully to make sure whatever you get will clear your bed and look nice. You don't want either to look like it is hanging down into the opening between the bed posts. Good luck.

Live in Arizona. While designers hate them, ceiling fans are a must. If they aren't where you live, I say go with a chandelier.

You can get one that is both. Menards, Lowes, Home depot has them.

I think bedroom chandeliers are gorgeous, but I've lived in Wisconsin and Florida, and I've found a fan a neccesity in both places, even with AC, I use mine year round. There are so many attractive fans available these days as well.
