Before & After Kitchen Remodel
This 1890's house had suffered many inappropriate renovations over its lifetime. The kitchen style lacked interesting details and contrasted drastically from the classical interiors found in the rest of the house.
Modern kitchens have evolved to play a major role in daily life and entertaining, so we added 'front of house' details to this updated kitchen. A peninsula now separates the kitchen from the new breakfast room, which has been expanded by the addition of a new bay window overlooking the back yard. As a result of the remodel, the kitchen is lighter and has more natural light, as well as a greater connection to the outdoors.
