Are these kitchen pendants too large?

They make a statement but seem a bit off, too big, etc. What do you all think? Might look better once kitchen is done - paper taken off counters/island and floors stained, etc. Thanks!

If the island was narrower, they might feel too large, but I think they are great and I like the roundness with the counter's curve and the size of your overall kitchen can handle them. Your kitchen looks great.

I love them, too! Except I can see some wired kid hanging a plastic goldfish in them every now and again. ;) But seriously, could you share the source? They're just oversized enough to be perfect, somehow.

I think that the scale of the island pendants work well in the space. Everything always feels more complete once you get appliances installed and counters un wrapped. Your home is looking great!

Nickel - I thought I saw a brass?!! Are the pulled handles - what called? - a past style that has staying .... cupped.

You chose well; they are perfect. And just the right blend of retro and contemporary. When you have the space furnished and stools at the counter, they will seem even smaller. I think it's just the shock of seeing them for the first time. Size is subjective, but I add my voice to the approvals above!
