Much better floor plan! I am not a professional designer and have just discovered this helpful website. I'm all about function and making a room inviting. To continue with this design I would angle the pool table/pingpong table so the end is in the corner this will allow the players have room to get a good shot. Purchase a long narrow buffet cabinet for storage and for a place to set food? Hang a picture or mirror above it add a lamp and serving tray. Consider adding a coffee table in front of the sofa and end table between the two chairs. These could be fun accent additions. A sofa table could be added behind the sofa not centered but at the end by the sliders. Thinking Add a lamp and low accent pieces then there should be room to add something of interest on the floor at the end of the table still behind the sofa. The dart board could be on the long wall between the ping pong table and the table grouping maybe? Interesting art work including canvas and metal could be added behind the chairs. Don't be afraid of LARGE and a plant or bookshelves next to the fireplace. Look throughout your home you may just have what you need. Enjoy!!!

It's an iPad app called Amikasa. It's somewhat limited because furniture is preloaded but super easy to use.

Do you want to use the fireplace? If so it would help to have comfy seating by it.

How do you want to use the space? When, how many, etc. It's hard to design without knowing that.

Thanks for all the suggestions. We live in Florida so we don't really use the fireplace often (or at all). That is really where our kids (and their friends) hang out. The kids are ages 10 and 13. I want it to be a fun, family space. We have some sports memorabilia in there now and I would like to keep it in there.
I like the above computer models but it won't work to turn the pool table/ ping pong table. There would not be enough room to really play and the fireplace has a large hearth that would be in the way.

Not sure what you're looking for then. Is it non-functional or do you just want to "decoarate" it to look better? What do you like vs not like about it?

Seems like the ping-pong table is closer to the kitchen/other activities. If you use it enough to make it worth keeping, then do so, but move it over to the other side of the room so the sitting area is closer to the kitchen, and can also embrace the fireplace.

Are you determined to keep that sectional sofa? If so, have the back of it toward the ping pong table in the reverse area of the room, but arrange the sitting area so that the view is of the exterior. I hate sitting in a sofa/seating area where our backs are the the windows/exterior view and we sit around looking at a blank wall with a TV on it. I always arrange my TV so it is near/to the side of a window or a slider so whether I'm watching the TV or not, there is a nice view of sunlight/trees/flower planters, etc. And then I also don't have to fight the glare from sunlight coming from behind the couch.

May be a beast to move that table, but I think it will be worth it to have that off to the side and embrace your view/natural light/fireplace. And if you can ditch that sectional, perhaps get instead a grouping of comfortable chairs, or a single simple sofa and 2 chairs. I prefer with such furniture that there not be fabric down to the floor: blocks the flow of light/energy in a space. Have legs that show...
